## When to use

Use this when your team reports growing citations but pipeline impact is unclear. Run it weekly to separate discoverability from commercial recommendation performance.

## Steps

1. Classify your top 30 prompts by intent, with 15 informational prompts and 15 commercial prompts.
2. Run both prompt sets in the same week and record citation presence and recommendation presence as separate metrics.
3. Build one before and after score sheet with two columns: baseline week and current week.
4. Improve commercial pages with clear buying criteria, audience fit, pricing logic, alternatives, and tradeoffs.
5. Align category wording, proof points, and positioning across your site and third party profiles.
6. Retest weekly and make recommendation share movement your headline metric, while using citation movement as a debugging layer.
