# Single-Intent Page Rewrite Skill File

## When to use

Use this when a page gets impressions but qualified clicks and next-step actions stay flat. Run it on one existing URL where demand exists and click quality is weak.

## Steps

1. Pick one existing post with high impressions and low click-through rate.
2. Review the top 10 results and classify the dominant search engine results page pattern.
3. Write one sentence that defines the single page task: learn, compare, or buy.
4. Cut sections that serve secondary intents and keep only blocks that support the main task.
5. Rewrite the intro, key headings, and call to action around that one completion goal.
6. Recheck after 14 to 28 days and compare click-through rate plus one action metric.

## Examples

Example rewrite from the post:

- Before: Intro tried to define intent types, compare tools, and push a demo in the same opening section.
- After: Intro states one task, "help the reader compare options," then moves definitions lower and keeps one comparison CTA.
- What was cut: Glossary-style definitions, pricing language, and side topics not required for comparison.
- What moved: Decision criteria table and proof elements moved above the fold.

Delta line used in the post:

CTR delta (percentage points) = day-28 CTR minus starting click-through rate, plus change in high-quality clicks over the same period.

## Notes

Use one fixed measurement window so results are comparable across rewrites. Start with three pages before scaling to the full blog.
